About Curious Bloom
Creating has always been, and will always be, a huge part of my life. For me, a life without creating would not be a life truly lived. In early 2012, I started Curious Bloom as a way to pursue that passion and turn it into a career.
My core values for my shop are high-quality products and outstanding customer service. Above all else, I want anyone who makes a purchase from Curious Bloom to know how much I genuinely care about my customers' satisfaction.
I am highly supportive of the handmade movement, and I buy many of my supplies from other independent, small-business sellers. I also make a lot of personal purchases from them, because mass-produced, mass-marketed products will never compare to the quality, uniqueness, and just plain heart of something handmade by a real person doing what they love.
I grew up in southwest Ohio and earned my Art Education degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. My husband and I relocated to Virginia in 2005 and have spent the last several years living in beautiful western Loudoun County in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have a 10-year-old son, a 7-year-old daughter, a small flock of hens, and two ridiculous pet goats named Elvis and Gracie (who would most certainly eat my felt flowers if they got the chance). Life is good!
Thanks so much for stopping by Curious Bloom! I hope you find something you like. Please contact me with questions or custom requests.
